Ita is my grandmother’s nickname. She’s 4’9” and spent years working in New York City’s garment industry after immigrating from Puerto Rico. This label honors her legacy—an ode to family, labor, resilience, and dreams. In Spanish, “-ita” is a diminutive, a gesture toward smallness. It reflects not only her height, but our ethos: slow, small-batch fashion made with care, community, and intention.
